This very important event and result is the next step for T-Mobile’s strategy to expand its network coverage and save on roaming costs, but not only. This deal will cost $2.4 Billion, including an $800 million debt. For this sum T Mobile will get some additional benefits. The purchase process is not finished yet. T-Mobile will need now the approval from the Federal Communications Commission. The completion of the merger is expected to occur in 2008.
