French company Sagem Wireless introduced its new development - LG A140. There is not a mistake, because the manufacturer no longer makes phones under its own brand, and develops them to other companies.  LG is ordered from Sagem Wireless new line of budget mobile phones. And the first model was-LG A140. New made in monoblock form factor. The phone has a simple set of specifications: STN-display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels, 0.3-megapixel camera and music player.  Realization LG A140 will mobile operator T-Mobile, when the device will be officially presented and its value is unknown.  Source: GSMPress ®

The exhibition Mobile World Congress 2010 was presented to another phone for the elderly from the company Sagem Wireless - Cosyphone.  Like the other models targeted at the elderly, the apparatus has large keys and display contrast. Sagem Cosyphone - the first phone that has a modulus of NFC (Near Field Communication). Bluetooth wireless short-range, which is widely used for the commission of various payment transactions. Users will be able to pay for transportation services and purchase of simply waving your mobile phone to the appropriate terminal.  Included with the phone will be supplied to special cards, tags, which are pre-defined function is written: call the doctor, sending SMS or other action. The owner will be enough to bring to the phone card to activate the recorded action. How to build the programming of such cards is not reported.  Date sales and cost Sagem Cosyphone unknown.  Source: GSMPress

  Brand name Sagem will disappear from the streets at the end of 2008. The phone manufacturer has been active at the European market since the beginning of the mobile time age as a producer of phones for the start section of the market. The brand name Sagem will vanish because Safran, owner of Sagem, stopped the mobile phone division at the end of July. At the end of July, Sagem was taken over by investment company Sofinnova. The mobile phone division will go on under the wings of Sofinnova as an independent hardware distributor and will deliver OEM based hardware to other companies, which means that Sofinnova will produce devices for and under other brand names. For example, some Sony Ericsson devices are produced by Sofinnova. Furthermore, the company will produce devices for network operators, which will come to the market as branded versions (with the name of the carrier). In most cases this will concern devices for the start section of the market, such as prepaid phones. Besides the OEM production, Sofinnova will also focus on the development of new products and innovations for the mobile industry. Because Safran Group has stopped Sagem the brand name Sagem will silently disappear from the market. Devices that are momentarily planned will partly come to the market under the Sagem brand
