Sony Ericsson launched a couple of handsets dedicated to radio listeners: the R300 Radio and R306 Radio and other two low-end phones: Sony Ericsson T270 and T280.
What characterizes Sony Ericsson R300 Radio and R306 is the improved performance of the loud-speaker, and the ability to boost the volume in the 3D mode. Both phones are designed to deliver the most in matters of music experiences and the support for the AM/FM frequencies and Bluetooth headsets. A handy tool is the TrackID, which helps you to identify songs at a glance. SE R300 is a bar phone, it is equipped with a VGA camera (0.3MP) and it will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2008 in two colors: Antique Copper and Steel Black. SE R306 – a clamshell - holds 1.3MP optics on the back and its market launch is promised for the 3rd quarter, 2008 in Coffee Black and Champagne White colors.
Sony Ericsson T270 and T280 are intended to offer a reasonable balance between the price range and the technical features. Both are equipped with a 65k display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, the support for MP3 ringtones and an inbuilt FM radio. SE T280 houses a 1.3 MP camera also. There are two colors two choose from: Silver on Black and Copper on Silver. The handsets will be available in the first quarter 2008.
