Yesterday, Benq Corporation announced the release of new stylish windows mobile smartphone Benq E72. This device is fashion-oriented and works under the control of Windows Mobile 6. Benq E72 being quad-band GSM is equipped by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 technologies. One of the main features of this cell phone is the presence of 2.0 MP camera with the possibility of video recording. The new model permits to connect to AIM, ISQ, Yahoo!, MSN, and Gtalk chat clients owing to pre-installed MuduIM. The users can enjoy the downloading of games, ringtones and others because this phone has 128 MB of integrated memory and possesses the slot for memory cards microSD up to 2 GB. Benq E72 is one of the slimmest mobile phones (108x46.3x13.8mm). It will be available in select Asia Pacific and European regions during Q4 2007 in a burgundy and black color scheme.

InfoSonics Company presented to the public a new smartphone called InfoSonics Verykool s700. The device is made in the form factor monoblock, the front panel are four touch-sensitive keyboard shortcut keys, and two individuals to receive and complete the call. Novelty refers to the category of budget smartphone and has the technical characteristics of the initial level. The smartphone is equipped with 3.5-inch capacitive screen with HVGA resolution, two gigabytes of internal memory, the basic 2-megapixel camera, frontalkoy module and FM radio. For data transfer gadget equipped with Wi-Fi (b / g / n), Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS. Among the connectors are 3.5 mm, microSD and microUSB. Dimensions of novelty are 117x65x12, 7 mm, and weighs 110 grams. Unfortunately, at this time remains unknown amount of RAM, and processor type.   On the Bluetooth Special Interest Group association’s site has appeared the information on the certification of its new mobile phone Benq E55, which, judging from the available information and photographs, is made in the clamshell form-factor, and also supports the third generation networks (WCDMA 2100) in addition to the three GSM bands (900/1800/1900 MHz). This mobile phone supports such data transfer standards on the mobile networks as GPRS and EDGE, and some of the Bluetooth profiles are these: Headset, Hands-Free 1.5, FTP, AVCTP, AVRCP, Dial-Up, Object Push, GAVDP, AVDTP, A2DP. Some other information on Benq E55, unfortunately, is not available - including the lead time of its appearance.  

  Several forums published the information on the new series of cell phones of BenQ. The published information is slides allegedly distributed in Taiwan. They disclose the representatives of E, M, T and S series. The first two are based on the same platform as Siemens SXG75, ie, Qualcomm. The device of T series will be based on the TI platform used in BenQ S88. The cell phone of  S series, a realization of  the BlackBox concept, dating October, 2006, will be based on a new platform.
