Today LG launched a new mid range phone – KG 290. The handset is a nice looking slider which is equipped with standard utilities and a sum of entertainment features like the 1.3 MP camera, the support for MP3, ACC and other popular file formats. The phone has a small 5MB internal memory but this fact is compensated by the FM Radio and the slot for memory cards. The internet can be surfed via the WAP2.0 browser using GPRS connections. The manufacturer announced the talk time to be 2 hours long and a stand by time of 200 hours.
