Rumors came true. As many have been speculating on the upcoming N96 model, it finally reached the official presentation. The new handset is a slide form factor device, equipped with a 2.8” display, a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 16GB of internal storage. The phone incorporates the gaming keys that were already found previously on Nokia N81 and is powered by Symbian 60, the third edition. The phone is designed to offer the ultimate connectivity level therefore it supports 3G and WiFi connections. The GPS function is also on-board but it is operable only in a combination with the Nokia Maps software. Thanks to a high speed of data transfer there are multiple options to enjoy the possibility to watch TV broadcasts on the go. The phone will be available starting the third quarter, 2008.
