Japanese company Sony has decided to win back its share of the smartphone market and is actively preparing to release two new devices called Sony LT21i Tapioca and Sony Nypon.
Sony LT21i Tapioca is scheduled for a niche cost of smartphones, and has very simple characteristics, respectively price of the device promises to be quite low. During the performance of the smartphone meets a single core processor with a clock frequency of 800 MHz paired with 512 megabytes of RAM. Apparatus equipped with a display diagonal of 3.2 inches and a resolution of 320x480 pixels. Internal memory capacity is 4GB and easily increased by using memory cards microSD. On board there is a smartphone with 3.2-megapixel camera module and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. The device is designed to work in WCDMA networks, and hardly will be widespread in the post-Soviet countries.
On the technical characteristics of Sony Nypon us significantly is not known. At the moment there are only pictures of this unit, and its official announcement is scheduled for the month of February. This event should take place on the popular show MWC.
It is assumed that buy Sony LT21i Tapioca will be available in June, and Sony Nypon - in April this year.
