Samsung Electro-Mechanics has developed a power energy microelement on liquids and a hydrogen generator which work on water. The vice president of the research centre has declared that the device is good for mobile phones. When the phone works, metal and water are reacting and the hydrogen is produced and further sent to the battery. It reacts with the oxygen from the air and produces electrical energy.The liquid batteries can provide up to 3W power – this is enough to have a mobile phone working. One charge can last for 10 hours talk time or 5 days in medium use. When the battery is drained, the user has to replace the hydrogen cartridge. After a while, there will be batteries that needs only water to be added, no cartridges.The developers declared that the phones powered by such systems should be available on the market during the 2010 year. 

  The Swiss company TAG Heuer announced the new elite cell phone called Meridiist. It is necessary to remind that the body of this device is made of stainless steel with leather inserts and the display is firmly defended by sapphire glass. The novelty offers 1.9 inch QVGA display, 2.0 MP camera, Media player with support of the formats MP3, AAC, MPEG-4 and a Bluetooth module. The battery of TAG Heuer Meridiist will provide you up to 7 hours of work in the talk mode. The cell phone will appear in the second quarter of this year.  

  The Korean company Pantech introduced stylish slider that supports 3.5G network. The device is made for the Korean market and is proposed under local brand SKY. Pantech Duke has 2.4" QVGA screen, 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth and a set of standard functions completed with a system of payment M-Commerce and the local subway card. The device will cost about $400, which is expensive for an ordinary cell phone of middle class. The producer said that the phone is assembled with quality materials and looks very stylish.  

  As can be seen from the official page of the model Nokia 6500 Classic, we will have soon a silver version of the phone. For the moment, Nokia 6500 Classic has been designed in black or beige colors. By the way, the largest European retailers (in England, for example) have already made possible reservations of a new color version. Till now, no information about the technical specs of this device was found, based on this photo is hard to say even the phone’s form factor.More probable, this is a slider like its predecessor.   The South Korean company Samsung announced the successful invention of a battery working on a hydrogen generator.As a fuel it is used high quality water. The new battery it’s capable to supply with energy a mobile phone for 10 hours (from a single recharge).The working principle of this battery, accordingly to the Samsung’s officials, is the following – “when the phone is on, water and metal are reacting and hydrogen is obtained, further more, the hydrogen is reacting with the oxygen” 

  It has come to our knowledge that in the near future online store Gadget Craver will go on sale first wristwatch phone based on Windows CE 5.0. A device called EGP-WP98 is able to work in four bands GSM / GPRS networks. According to the manufacturer, watches are water-resistant; in addition, the model is a fully functional mobile phone. Start device sales will be held on 25 April. The cost of wrist mobile phone is 629.95 USD.   The second biggest French operator SFR launched the 3G MTV 3.3 mobile phone branded by MTV. The device is for the relevant age audience - SFR deploys active marketing activities around this phone, of course, with the support of MTV. The cell phone was made by the company ModeLabs. It is a slider of red color with 2 MP camera and multimedia player. The mobile phone is with preinstalled MTV content. The handset will cost 49 EUR. Apparently SFR will provide this device with a contract. By the way, it is ModeLabs that among other things makes the phones under the brand name Hummer.      

  HTC is preparing to release a new communicator with the code-named Diamond. This device will be presented May 6 at a special press conference. Previously, it was thought that at this conference the company announces Google phone. It is possible that the company will present May 6, its latest smartphone based on Google Android platform - HTC Dream. We will remind that the only known details about the novelty are that it has a great touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, its width is 3 inches (7.62 cm) and the length - 5 inches (12.7 cm).
