The analytical company "Informa Telecoms and Media", has recently published a report accordingly to which, the number of 3G services subscribers in Europe exceeded 100 million. That’s why, the penetration of 3G in Europe is 11.1%. The total number of subscribers in Europe is 910 million.

  The Nokia Company has announced today the signing of an agreement with a private company called Plazes, under which Nokia buys all the Plazes assets. Also, under the administration of Nokia will be forwarded 13 Plazes employees. We remind that with the help of Plazes service, people registered in Plazes and being nearby, can "find" each other and get acquainted.  

  In the Symbian’s history is coming an important day – on June 24, 1998, Symbian Ltd. was founded. Its founders became the companies: Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Psion. Currently there are 1493 employees working in the Symbian Company.   According to the iShare company research, about 91% of mobile phone users in Japan are not going to buy the iPhone. The survey was conducted before the iPhone 3G presentation in San Francisco. More than half of those who still plan to buy a phone, are the clients of the Softbank operator – the same which will offer iPhone in the Country of the sun rising. According to iShare, approximately 77.1% of respondents prefer phones with a replaceable battery, while 22.9% was not concerned by this fact. In the survey took part 402 respondents.
