Worst fears were confirmed - the Sony Ericsson company introduced five new phones (among them a new gaming phone and photo-phone), but the BeiBei and Paris smartphones (which, apparently, have received the P10 index) were not among them. When these handsets will be announced - is not known. However, it is noteworthy that the traditional for Sony Ericsson VIP support for these phones, including planned "leakage" of information on the Internet, give us the idea that most likely, the Japanese-Swedish company assumed that the devices would be launched sooner. We also have to mention that, according to some rumors, the P10 release was already postponed several times.  

  The German network SMS-shop (it really exists) uses in its promotional materials, which announce "new Nokia players", the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic – an iPhone-like monoblock with touchscreen. Till now it’s really difficult to say how close to the beginning of 5800 sales we are, and whether the image is real or fake. But this poster allows us to take a glimpse at the touchscreen interface of the novelty.  

Fly Mobile announced today the brand new SL 600 model. The phone has a modern design and features some good technical specifications. Although slim and light, at only 81 grams, the slider incorporates a 2MP camera, MicroSD slot, and also Bluetooth and EDGE to support connectivity. Entertainment is assured by a MP3 player, FM Radio and exclusively – the possibility to record or to schedule a record session of the FM music or live broadcastings. The phone is targeted to the UK market and will be available exclusively at Woolworths.

  Tomorrow, Sony Ericsson will introduce another middle class device - S302. It is not difficult to guess from the title, the phone has a fairly average camera, which allows making images on the go, but does not care very much about their quality.   So far, the potential Sony Ericsson buyers could see only the photos of the white prototype C905 slider, which were not too impressive. Now the se4m.com site shows pictures of the black slider version. The phone looks more presentable, but it is evident his thickness.  

  The Motorola’s crisis is not weakening at all. As it became known just recently, the U.S. Company intends to close the design center in Birmingham, which now provides 120 jobs. It is expected that 50% of the center’s workforce will be reduced and the rest will be moved to new locations. Earlier, Motorola has announced the dismissal of 150 employees of the Research Center.  

  As reported by Akihabaranews.com, on June 20, the Toshiba Company will introduce a new smartphone - G810. The device works on Windows Mobile 6.1 and will support HSDPA / HSUPA. The device will be equipped with a 2,83 "QVGA-screen, 3 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, FM / RDS, integrated GPS with A-GPS and up to 4 GB of memory on board (microSD).          

  Motorola dismisses 20% of the staff of one of the main company’s units - the research department. Exactly this department’s staff, at his time, designed a huge number of technological innovations, including, in fact, the mobile phone itself. 120 of the 600 engineers will be laid off and the work of another 180 will be reorganized. On this background, there were unconfirmed rumours that the company postpones the launch of many Motorola phones. In general, since the Congress in Barcelona, no new products were presented, except the ones in "espionage" form. The leaders of the Motorola Company have chosen the plan to separate the mobile phone unit, but some analysts have assumed that the initial difficult financial situation practically ensures a quick financial death of the new separated company.

  The HP Company has reported that the sales of the first Communicators of the iPAQ 900 Business Messenger series will begin in June 30. These devices are targeted as it is easy to understand from the title, mostly for the business users. The Communicator works under Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and it operates on the second as well as on the third generation networks. The iPAQ 900 series models have the following specs: QVGA-display, 3 - Mp camera, built-in GPS-receiver, support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The HP Company notes that the new communicators will be available worldwide beginning on 30 June (although, in various regions, the date of initiation may vary), their value has not yet been reported.  

  As the semcblog.wordpress.com blog writes, Sony Ericsson is ready to present the middle class phone F305, which will have pronounced gaming features and there will be also FM-radio and stereo speakers.  The device’s appearance is not known yet, but the source suggests that the phone will be presented on June 17 in the global announcement of Sony Ericsson.
